Spooky Season

I am a real lover of Christmas, I don’t typically celebrate Halloween or get into the whole Autumn festivities, yet this year I completely immersed myself in the spooky season and got into the spirit of things.

Firstly, let’s start with my nails…I decided, for Halloween to have BLACK nails. I added an extra dimension with the sparkles – I think they look incredible, and they’ve stayed on so well, allowing my nails to grow too. I did opt to have gel nails which is why they’ve stayed on for about 3 weeks. See the photo below of my amazing nails, also featuring my new Nude Lipstick from L’oreal which I’m also in love with. What do you think?

I also visited Yankee Candle and bought a few new scents for October/November time…definitely taking inspiration from my absolute favourites Anna Saccone and Zoella!! I bought the small sample candles in Witches Brew, Candy Corn, Amber Moon and Fireside Treats. They all smell incredible, and look so sweet in my little holders.

I also treated myself to a few new candle holders from Waitrose and Asda Home. I bought Halloween themed tea lights, a Pumpkin tea light holder and a shiny orange tea light holder which has a cute spooky design on it, and then from Asda Home I bought two pretty gold tea light holder and a glittery heart shaped hanging decor. Oh, and how can I forget…I also bought a Sparkly Pumpkin Bubble Bar from Lush!

Tom and I got our pumpkin carve on this year too which is so much fun, well it’s smelly and messy, but it’s a lot of fun. We realised after an hour or so, that our candle was cooking/burning (oops!) the inside of our pumpkin, so next year, we’ll buy fake tea lights to put inside the pumpkins! #WeLiveAndLearn

I’m sorry this Halloween themed post is slightly late, and some of the photos are a little blurry, I’ve just been so busy and my life has been upside down for the past few weeks, but I promise for more regular posts now – trust me I’ve got lots of drafts just waiting to be published! I hope you all had a fabulous Halloween, I’m looking forward to next year for more pumpkin carving, dressing up and more themed Yankee Candles!

What did you get up to for Halloween? Did you try my Halloween Workout?!
