Gifts for Little Ones (Blogmas Day 4)

I’m no stranger when it comes to buying gifts for little ones, in fact, I find it very hard to STOP buying gifts for the littles ones! They really do make Christmas magical don’t they? Seeing their little faces light up on Christmas morning makes all the late night wrapping sessions, running around like a headless chicken and spending your last tenner of the month on gift bags instead of food, really, really worth it. So whilst it’s still so early on in December, I wanted to share some of my favourite gift ideas suitable for newborn to age 6. Enjoy!

Books from Waterstones

I think buying books for Christmas is a wonderful idea. I had read somewhere that some parents buy 24 books and wrap them up under the tree for the children to open every night of December before Christmas – like an advent calendar using books instead! That way, they can read a new book each night before bed and then end up with a lovely collection of books. Here are some of my personal favourites:

Dogs Don’t Do Ballet  Giraffes Can’t Dance  Dinosaur Roar  The Jolly Christmas Postman

Fawn Pyjamas from The White Company £22

I saw these and immediately fell in love. I love red and white together anyway, and then the polka dots and fawn just made them that extra bit cute. Pyjamas at The White Company are made so well with lovely fabrics that feel super soft and high quality. I think these would make a lovely present for children who have birthdays in December so that they can wear them the whole month leading up to Christmas, or to give to them on Christmas Eve as their Christmas jammies!

Russian Doll Skittles from Jo Jo Maman Bebe £14

For those who love wooden toys also, I saw these on the Jo Jo website and thought that they’d be a lovely gift to little girls who enjoy fun games and activities. It will be something on Christmas morning to have fun with and get the whole family involved. Plus Russian Dolls are always lovely to just place around a little girls room as decor!

Ivy Boos Children’s Pinnies £10

These are actually handmade by Toms Mum (I know she’s talented right!). They are absolutely adorable and they’re perfect for both boys and girls who love to bake or get messy with crafts. All pinnies are made from top quality fabrics and handmade by Julie herself. Check out her Facebook page by clicking the link above to see more of her products.
